Community Service
The health of a church should not be measured by its size, but in its love for God and love for people in the community.
One of the things we love most about Conshohocken are the neighbors, churches, organizations and businesses that care so much about community. If you are looking for opportunities to serve, we would love to partner with you to connect you with some of the work that is already happening. Here are a few places to start:
The Colonial Neighborhood Council (CNC). The CNC is a community staple which has been helping the people in Conshohocken, Plymouth, Bridgeport, Whitemarsh, Lafayette Hill since 1967. They have a food cupboard, thrift shop, serve Meals on Wheels, and provide emergency aid to families.
Cradles to Crayons. Cradles to Crayons provides children from birth through age 12, living in homeless or low-income situations, with the essential items they need to thrive – at home, at school and at play. They supply these items free of charge by engaging and connecting communities that have with communities that need. They are located at 30 Clipper Rd in Conshohocken and always open to volunteers.
CPW Rotary. The Conshohocken Plymouth Whitemarsh Rotary Club is a group of business and professional leaders who volunteer in Conshohocken to promote world understanding and peace as part of Rotary’s roughly 31,000 clubs in more than 162 countries. Rotary lead projects to address such issues as poverty, health, hunger, education, and the environment.
